I have several strengths that I believe will be of benefit to your company. To begin with, I always have a disciplined approach to all tasks. So to give you an example of this, in a previous role, my manager needed a volunteer to cover a worker who was off sick for several weeks. I agreed to be that person. So I did their work on. I'm a very quick learner and I need little supervision and also the fact that I am commercially aware so what that means is I understand that you've worked hard to build your business and to help you continually thrive, I need to do a great job. I need to be supportive of change, and I also need to make sure that I take ownership to face difficult challenges and problems.

What are your strengths?

The strengths I have include the fact that I already have the necessary skills, the qualities and the attributes to match the essential criteria listed on the job description. I am an excellent communicator. And I am also a really good collaborator. So whenever I work as part of a team with other people, I will work closely with them. I will listen carefully to the brief and I will be Supportive to the co-workers, other strengths include the fact that I genuinely want to build a long-term career right here with your company. And that will only be a positive thing because that means that I can build long-term mutually beneficial relationships with customers and clients that will help to increase company revenue. So to give you an example in my previous role, I was one of the top performing employees within the organization because I constantly generated increased sales year on year. Here I have a strength of good. The fact that I never move away from a difficult challenge. I'm happy to take on lots of additional work. That is perhaps outside of the job description. And I will always take ownership of difficult challenges.

What are your greatest strengths?

My strengths include versatility, patience and resilience. So, I am a versatile employee. I'm the type of person who will willingly take on duties that are outside of the job description. I want to learn and continually thrive and I see that as my responsibility to help out the organization whenever needed. To give you an example of what I've previously demonstrated that in my last roll, my manager needed, someone to urgently cover the duties of a co-worker who had gone off sick. I agreed to be that person. I learned my co-workers duties and responsibilities are completed them on time, whilst also carrying out my own responsibilities, I'm also a patient person. So I'll take my time to really get to know your customers and clients so I can see them well, which will in turn increase company revenue. I'm also a resilient person I can adapt well to stress and pressure. I understand it's all part and parcel of working life and when I am under pressure and I will always take ownership of difficult challenges.

What are your strengths?

My strengths include the fact that I am a flexible employee. I'm very loyal and trustworthy and I have strong customer service skills. Other strengths include the fact that in my personal life, I am currently saving up to buy my first house and that means that I want to work as many hours as possible. I genuinely want to work additional shifts and duties. If the opportunity arises that means I'll be available at short notice to help out your company and I will never let you down. The strong customer service skills that I have means that I can help your company to win more customers and the customers that you do have, I will help you to retain them over a long period of time which will increase company revenue. Finally, another really positive strength of mine is that I'm really good on social media. Tip no.1 is to make sure that you give more than one strength. In fact you should give four or five. Now the majority of candidates will give just one strength in response to this question, but you can quickly stand out from the competition by giving four or five tip.

Tip no.2 when answering the interview question, what are your strengths? is to make sure the strengths of you do give are aligned with the job description. This is really important. Now if you do this, it will demonstrate to the hiring manager that you already have what it takes to excel in the role.

Tip no.3 is a really important one. However, it is often overlooked by candidates and that is to give evidence of where your strengths of added value to a company. In a previous role, it's very easy for a candidate to tell the interviewer, the strengths they have however backing up your claims with evidence is a different matter altogether and it will help you to pass.
